First Holiday Social at El Paso International Airport Set for Wednesday

The City of El Paso invites the public to celebrate the holiday season the El Paso International Airport to view the holiday lights and decorations both inside and outside of the terminal.

“This is an excellent opportunity for the community to come out and enjoy the lights and decorations that have been installed throughout the terminal,” said Monica Lombraña, A.A.E., Managing Director of Aviation and International Bridges. “The staff has worked meticulously to ensure that the terminal looks its best for the thousands of passengers we plan on welcoming each day.”

The celebration will also feature the debut the new EP Star, a 6 foot-tall, 11 foot-wide lighted representation of the star on the mountain to serve as a memorable photo opportunity when visiting the airport.

The event will also feature live music, hot chocolate, apple cider, churros, tamales, popcorn, candy and pictures with Santa. This family-friendly event is open to the public and parking will be validated for attendees.

Mayor Dee Margo, City Representative Alexsandra Annello of District 2, and City Representative Cassandra Hernandez-Brown of District 3 will also be in attendance.
