Free Arts Programming Available to El Paso Community

Each year, the Museum and Cultural Affairs Department provides direct funding to area teaching artists and non-profit organizations to provide programming throughout the city through the Community Arts Program (CAP).

“CAP connects teaching artists to our community and brings the arts into the classroom and public spaces,” said Rebecca Muñoz, Cultural Development Coordinator.

CAP offers a variety of workshops and performances led by local artists including music, dance, writing and visual art that are appropriate for different age groups.

All CAP services are free! Services are available to area non-profits, schools, libraries and free community events. A catalog of services is available at elpasoartsandculture.org under the Arts Funding

tab. Services can be scheduled by contacting Rebecca Muñoz at 915-212- 0110 or munozra@elpasotexas.gov
