Video+Story+Schedule: Freedom Crossing Celebrates St. Patrick’s Day this Weekend

A celebration of green, gold and good luck will take place March 17 and 18 on the grounds of Freedom Crossing at Fort Bliss this weekend.

The festival and activities are free and will not require a pass to enter Fort Bliss; however, to enter Fort Bliss during the event, drivers must show a valid U.S. driver’s license at designated gates.

Live music from Empyre Pipes and Drums and San Patricios will have guests shaking their shamrocks with a variety of sounds from The Feel, Aces & Eights, Wildflower, Dusty Low, Sorry About your Sister and more.

Guests can also enjoy authentic Irish food from a variety of food trucks. The schedule of daily activities and band performances is available online.

Freedom Crossing is located 1611 Haan Road at Fort Bliss.

Saturday, March 17

2-9pm – Free Kids Activities: Face painting, Balloon Twisters, Arts & Crafts

2 – 3:30pm – The MIXX

3:45-5:30 – The Feel

5:30-6pm – Empyre Pipes and Drums

6-7:30pm – Wildflower

7:30-9pm – DJ RamZ

9pm -10:30 – Aces & Eights

Saturday, March 18
