Tuesday the City of El Paso and Frontier Airlines announced new, non-stop flights from El Paso International Airport to Denver International Airport commencing March 8, 2018.
“This is great news. Frontier Airlines decision introduce new, direct flights will open more opportunities for leisure and business travel, which is something El Pasoans have told us they want,” Mayor Dee Margo said.
The new flights to Denver will run four days a week, with connections available to destinations nationwide, as well as connections to Latin America and the Caribbean.
“We have worked tirelessly to bring more non-stop flights to El Paso and the hard work is paying off. The additional direct flights will stimulate travel, tourism and our regional economy,” City Manager Tommy Gonzalez said.
Frontier will operate an Airbus A320 family aircraft on the new route with low introductory fares as well as travel bundles for affordable air travel options.
“We are excited to announce service from another airline that offers additional, affordable options for travelers. We look forward to the new partnership with Frontier,” said Monica Lombraña, A.A.E., Director of Aviation.
