Gallery: Austin takes ‘The Claw,’ downing El Paso High 62-14
One of the oldest high school rivalries in the state took to the gridiron Saturday afternoon, as the Austin Panthers took on the El Paso High Tigers for the 90th ‘Battle of the Claw.’
The Panthers controlled the pace of the game from the get-go, only allowing the Tigers two scores – one before and one after the half – en route to the 62-14 victory.
