Video+Gallery: El Paso’s Sweetheart Jennifer Han announces return to ring

World Champion and El Paso’s Sweetheart Jennifer Han announced a return to the ring during a news conference Thursday afternoon.

Han’s return to boxing will be on February 15th, 2020 at the El Paso County Coliseum.   The IBF Champion will fight her next fight in a 131-135 Jr., lightweight division fight, against an unnamed opponent. Golden Eagle Promotions will be promoting the fight.

Our very own Ruben R. Ramirez was there and we bring you his view of the news conference via this gallery.

About Ruben R. Ramirez

Home grown product of El Paso, Texas, 1973 graduate of Austin High School, Honorably Discharged from United States Marine Corps 1976, after serving for 3 years. My journalism career began in 1976 with the El Paso Herald-Post and in 1997 after 21 years, when the HP closed down I went to work for KDBC-TV Channel 4, local CBS affiliate for 14 months, then signed on with the El Paso Times for another 21 years. I recently retired in January 2019 and am now a Freelance Photographer and back where my career began with the El Paso Herald-Post WEB version. So here's to 21 more years hopefully with the news organization that gave me my start.
