Gallery: Health Care Professionals take a knee as part of ‘White Coats for Black Lives’

Heath care professionals around the country and here in El Paso took part in a solemn event Friday morning, taking a break from their duties to kneel as part of White Coats for Black Lives.

Billed as a ‘moment of silent reflection and commitment to improve the health and safety of people of color,’ organizers shared they would kneel for their ‘patients, colleagues, family, friends and entire community.

Our very own Andres Acosta was there, and we bring you the images he captured during the El Paso event, via this gallery.
