It’s was playoff time in the beautiful Northeast part of town, as the Parkland Matadors played host to the Austin Panthers at the Bullring Friday Night.
After starting the game in a scoreless standoff, both the Panthers and the Mats scored once in the second quarter, with Parkland snagging the 2-point conversion. From then on, Parkland’s defense took over as the offense scored twice more en route to a 21 to 7 victory.
