Gallery: Troopers topple Andress 51-41

It was an all-El Paso affair on the hardwood at Big Red Arena on the campus of Bel Air High School as the Eastwood Troopers took on the Andress Eagles Regional Quarter Final action Tuesday night.

While the squads battled back and forth in front of a packed house, it was Eastwood that finally took control.

As the final buzzer sounded, it was accompanied with a loud ‘Trooper Clap’ as Eastwood defeated Andress 51-41.

Our very own Ruben R. Ramirez was there and we bring you his view of the game via this gallery.

About Ruben R. Ramirez

Home grown product of El Paso, Texas, 1973 graduate of Austin High School, Honorably Discharged from United States Marine Corps 1976, after serving for 3 years. My journalism career began in 1976 with the El Paso Herald-Post and in 1997 after 21 years, when the HP closed down I went to work for KDBC-TV Channel 4, local CBS affiliate for 14 months, then signed on with the El Paso Times for another 21 years. I recently retired in January 2019 and am now a Freelance Photographer and back where my career began with the El Paso Herald-Post WEB version. So here's to 21 more years hopefully with the news organization that gave me my start.
