Game in Many Pics: Jefferson jolts El Paso 35-14

It was a tale of two halves between the El Paso High Tigers and Jefferson Silver Foxes at R. R. Jones Stadium, where defense and turnovers were the stars of the game.

While the Tigers went into halftime with a 7-3 lead, it was the Foxes who would come storming back.  Thanks to turnovers and a strong defensive showing, the Jefferson Silver Foxes put the game away.

During the second half, the Foxe put 35 more points on the board, while the Tigers managed only 7 points during the entire second half.

EPHS ended the season winless, while the Foxes look forward to the team’s final game of the season in the Sun Bowl against the Bowie Bears, in annual “Pride of the Southside” game.

Our very own Ruben R. Ramirez was there and we bring you his view of the contest in this ‘Game in Many Pics.’
