TxDot, Go10 Project Closures for Week of August 27-31

Drivers, mark your calendars as GO10 crews will close I-10 for 5 nights next week, August 27-31.

Via a news release, officials with GO10 and TxDot shared, “Thank you for your patience and support.  We’re halfway there.”

In the same release, they added the following tips:

  • Know the alternate routes, such as Transmountain Road (Loop 375).
  • Before you start your car, use a traffic app like Metropia to find the best route (and earn rewards).
  • Avoid driving during rush hours.
  • Give yourself an extra 10 minutes of drive time.
  • Pay attention to roadside signage.
  • Follow the work zone speed limit.
