GO 10 has no closures scheduled over the Memorial Day weekend; but, in June, plans are to close I-10 every Sunday for 27-hour periods while crews move 40,000 feet worth of barrier walls and put lanes in their final design.
The end result is – roadway work will be complete by June 30th – on time and on budget. After June, expect work to continue off the roadways for another two months or so.
Off-the-roadway work will be for miscellaneous items, such as, finishing of a rock wall in the Sunland Park area, flood control work, clean up, and other punch list items.
