Go10/TxDoT Closures, Detours for Week of February 25

Go10/TxDoT Closures, Detours for Week of February 25

GO 10 crews have opened I-10 Westbound lanes – nine hours ahead of schedule. The closure was scheduled to be in place for 27 hours, starting at 3 am Sunday through 6 am February 26.  As part of the early opening of I-10 Westbound, the Sunland Park Drive westbound entrance ramp is also open.

Drivers on I-10 Westbound can expect a change in lane geometry between Resler Drive and Thorn Avenue.  Lanes are shifted over to the left and motorists will now be traveling on the center median of the I-10 overpass at North Mesa Street (SH 20).  Drivers should approach the area carefully and follow the posted speed limit.

North Mesa Street (SH 20) will remain closed under the I-10 overpass in both directions as scheduled. Crews continue to remove rubble and clean up.

New:  Crews have closed the North Mesa Street entrance ramp to I-10 Westbound until 6 a.m. Tuesday, February 27.

Additional time is needed to complete tying-in the North Mesa entrance ramp to the re-configured lanes of I-10 Westbound. Motorists will be able to take the North Mesa Street westbound ramp onto the North Desert Boulevard frontage road, then enter I-10 Westbound at the next entrance ramp at Redd Road.
