Goo Goo Dolls, Seether Headline This Year’s Downtown Street Festival

The Goo Goo Dolls and Seether are the official headlining acts for the El Paso Downtown Street Festival (StreetFest) this year.

StreetFest will be on June 17 and June 18 with Southwest University and Viva Auto Group presenting Seether on Friday night and The Goo Goo Dolls on Saturday night.

The two day festival will take over the Convention Center Plaza, the Abraham Chavez Theatre, Arts Festival Plaza, Santa Fe Street, Main Street, and San Francisco Street.

“We look forward to StreetFest every summer and we enjoy watching it grow even after all these years,” said Destination El Paso General Manager, Bryan Crowe. “Once again, we are fortunate to have world famous bands that everyone in El Paso can enjoy.”

The Goo Goo Dolls have become one of the most globally respected and influential forces in popular music history, selling more than 10 million albums since 1986. They have scored 14 Top 10 radio hits (more than any other artist in the history of the Hot AC format), including “Name,” “Slide,” and “Iris.”

Since their formation in 1999, Seether has become one of the most successful bands in the world.  The hard-rocking trio, originally from Pretoria, South Africa, has released seven albums, two of which that have gone Platinum and two more that are certified Gold.

Single day, Combo Tickets, and VIP tickets are on sale now.  For more information, visit the StreetFest Website.

Tickets can be purchased at ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets, charge-by-phone at 800-745-3000, and the Plaza Theatre Box Office.
