Grammy Award-nominated hip-hop recording artist and producer B.o.B is coming to El Paso, promoters announced Wednesday.
“This is really big,” B.o.B told fans on Facebook. “You’re really gonna like this.” The tour kicks off Thursday, June 8, in Jacksonville, N.C., and concludes July 29 in Boston.
The 28-year-old Bobby Ray Simmons Jr. gained recognition after releasing his first single, “Haterz Everywhere,” in 2007, making his way onto the Billboard charts. “Ether,” released in May, features the song “4 Lit,” a collaboration with T.I. and Ty Dolla $ign.
It is B.o.B’s fourth studio album and his first since 2013’s “Underground Luxury.” B.o.B has been nominated for six Grammy Awards.
Coinciding with the release of his latest album, “Ether,” B.o.B unveiled “The Elements Tour,” which will hit 34 cities nationwide, including a stop at the El Paso County Coliseum (4100 E. Paisano) at 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 18.
Tickets are $5, $10 $20 and $30, as well as $60 for VIP All Access passes, plus fees, and are now available at the El Paso County Coliseum Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at 800-745-3000 and online.
