‘Horse Soldiers’ Film Seeking to Cast Borderland Residents

Sande Alessi Casting, known for casting some of Hollywood’s biggest movies and television shows, wants to cast Borderland residents in their next film.

The film they are looking to cast for is “Horse Soldiers,” a true story of U.S. Special Forces assigned to fight a Northern Alliance warlord and drive out the Taliban against overwhelming odds in the rugged mountainous region of Afghanistan, just weeks after 9/11.

Officials with Alessi Casting say, “In El Paso we are only looking for males with culturally relevant looks to Afghanistan as well as Hispanics, Native Americans, Turkish, and African Americans.”

They add, “Applicants must be a local resident age 18 or older with valid social security number, as they will be paid for their appearance in the film.”

Sande Alessi Casting has worked in casting some of Hollywood’s hits, including Pirates of the Caribbean, Austin Powers, Argo, CSI, Glee, and countless others hits.
