Horses Unlimited Rescue and Education Center will be hosting two summer camp sessions beginning next week.
The sessions are a four-day educational camp where participants will learn all about horses including diet, behavior, needs, and care. The camp will also offer participants an opportunity to work with horses on the ground, saddling, brushing and riding.
The summer camp will help with fundraising efforts by Horses Unlimited Rescue to maintain the center.
“Please support the Horses Unlimited Rescue and Education Summer Camp,” officials shared via a news release. “as we strive to make an impact in the El Paso community by providing education and recreation with their equine companions.”
Summer Camp schedule:
Session 1 – June 11 – 14
Session 2 – July 16 – 19
Registration cost is $200 per student and space is limited.

Horses Unlimited is a community partner of the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, as they assist with the housing and relocation of stray horses in the county.
