On Monday, officials with The Hospitals of Providence announced that several of their hospitals received an “A” rating in The Leapfrog Group’s Spring 2021 Safety Score.
“Patient safety remains our top priority with each and every patient that enters our hospitals and entrusts us with their care.” said Nicholas Tejeda, Group CEO for The Hospitals of Providence.
“Recognitions such as The Leapfrog Group demonstrate our ongoing commitment to ensure every element of care is held to the highest of standards. We are incredibly proud of our team for their steadfast commitment to patient safety.”
The hospitals honored were The Hospitals of Providence Memorial Campus, Sierra Campus and Transmountain Campus.
The Leapfrog Group Hospital Safety Score is a rating system designed to give consumers information they can use to make healthcare decisions for themselves or a loved one.
The Leapfrog Group assigns A, B, C, D and F grades to more than 2,600 U.S. hospitals based on their ability and overall performance in keeping patients safe and preventing errors, injuries, accidents and infections.
