Hospitals of Providence host Daddy Boot Camp this weekend
For fathers-to-be, the Hospitals of Providence offers a bit of help ahead of the big day, via their Daddy Boot Camp Childbirth Education.
Geared just for new dads, this year’s classes begin on Saturday, January 25th.
“The Daddy Boot Camp, offered each month at the Transmountain Campus, is a free course that offers information on what fathers should expect during and after pregnancy,” Hospitals of Providence officials shared via an emailed news release.
The course covers topics on the normal discomforts of pregnancy, the signs and symptoms of labor, what to expect in the labor and delivery process, and postpartum and newborn care.
“The Hospitals of Providence recognizes the importance of a family-centered childbirth experience and provides other obstetric educational classes and events that cater to anyone who is expecting,” hospital officials added.
Classes are held the 4th Saturday of every month. To register, visit the Hospitals of Providence class/events page.
