Hospitals of Providence offer Free Heart Health Screenings

The Hospitals of Providence is helping El Pasoans fight the growing wave of heart disease by offering free heart health screenings in February.

Free services include glucose, weight, waistline and body mass index (BMI) screenings. The best way to improve heart health is to assess your situation through tests like these, according to The Hospitals of Providence.

A new report published by the American Heart Association in January, indicates that the number of people diagnosed with heart failure is projected to increase by 46 percent between now and 2030.

According to the American Heart Association, cardiovascular diseases were the most common cause of death in the world, claiming more than 17 million lives in 2014.

The first 600 guests will receive a free goodie bag
