The management team that will run the newly renovated Hotel Paso del Norte has added another member. James A. Perricone has been named the hotel’s new General Manager.
Perricone comes to El Paso from his previous position of Corporate Task Force General Manager for Interstate Hotels and Resorts. In that position, he also served as General Manager of the five-star London NYC hotel, a 562-room resort and luxury hotel.
Under Perricone’s direction, the hotel was voted one of the Top 10 hotels in New York.
Perricon’s previous work includes General Manager and Food and Beverage Director duties at various hotels throughout the U.S., including Albuquerque; Bethesda, Maryland.; and West Palm Beach, Florida.
As the Corporate Program Director of Food and Beverage for the U.S. Army and Department of Defense, he not only oversaw various hotels and resorts for military personnel, he also helped execute President Barack Obama’s Inauguration Ball in 2009.
Perricone is no stranger to opening new hotels. As a General Manager for Marriott and Hilton hotels, he opened six new hotels and was nominated for Marriot’s General Manager of the Year award. He was named Manager of the Quarter for Marriott Southeast Region.
