HUB International to open offices at Downtown’s WestStar Tower

Tuesday morning, officials with Hunt and WestStar announced that HUB International will locate their offices at WestStar Tower.

“At HUB El Paso, we are committed to our local customers and proud of our long El Paso history,” said Don Margo, President of HUB El Paso. “We are excited to be locating in what will be the most modern, technologically advanced commercial office space in El Paso and being part of the transformation and future of downtown.”

HUB International, a leading global insurance brokerage, will comprise nearly 13,000 square feet on level 15 of the 20-story office building in downtown El Paso.

El Paso is one of HUB International’s 475+ offices. The company employs more than 12,000 people, including 64 in El Paso.  The El Paso office specializes in property and casualty, employee benefits, life and personal insurance products.

HUB El Paso does business across the United States and also sells insurance to companies operating maquiladoras in Juárez.

“We’re pleased to have HUB International locate at WestStar Tower,” said Josh Hunt, Executive Vice President with Hunt. “We’ve had a great deal of interest from potential tenants and we’re glad to have one of HUB’s caliber join us in this state-of-the-art commercial building.”

Other tenants committed to the project include Corralito Restaurant, WestStar Bank, and Hunt Companies.

Project partners include Duda|Paine (building architect), Gensler (interior design), OJB (landscape architect) and Moss (general contractor). Pre-leasing and sales of condominium office space is in full swing.

Will and Adin Brown with Sonny Brown Associates are leading the leasing and sales effort for office and retail users.

WestStar Tower broke ground in the summer of 2018, and recently commemorated a topping off of the building.   When complete in 2021, WestStar Tower will be the tallest building in El Paso at over 313 feet high.

Officials say the overall project will include approximately 264,000 rentable square feet and 12,000 square feet of ground-level office and retail space.

The building will offer approximately 850 parking spaces in an integrated garage.
