For one night only, the Humane Society of El Paso will be open late and rocking and rolling.
Humane Society officials announced their first-ever Rock N Rescue event, set for Friday, June 24th from 11am-10pm. The event will be
80’s themed and potential adopters are asked to wear their favorite concert or band T-Shirt; those that do will receive an additional $10 off the adoption fee. In addition to the event, there will be food trucks as well as 80’s themed music.
Officials with the Humane Society say, “Summer is really busy for us and we need the community to keep adopting to help us save lives.”
All rescues will have the adoption fee of just $65. Includes spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate shots & blood test, microchip, city registration, sample bag of food.
They add, “Despite the Mega Adoption Events hosted through spring and summer we still have hundreds of animals coming in and several on our wait list to be surrendered.”
