The Humane Society of El Paso is once again welcoming summer campers back to the shelter, via their Critters ‘n’ Kids summer camp.
Organizers share that the camp is back with two 3-day camps to show kids what being an animal advocate is all about.
“Campers will get hands-on experience and learn from El Paso experts, including Red T. Hawk from the El Paso International Airport, the Master Gardners, The “Wolf Lady,” and Krazy Arrow Ranchette,” officials shared.
Registration is now open and the number of available camper spots has been reduced to 25 per session to allow for social distancing. All staff and campers will be following COVID- 19 safety precautions and protocols.
Critters ‘N’ Kids Animal ED-ventures will run Monday to Wednesday, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm June 21st to June 23rd for ages 6-8, and July 19th to July 21st for ages 9-12.
The registration fee is $80 and will include a camp shirt and goody bag.
