In a show of solidarity Miner Hockey players and staff add a touch of pink during games this weekend
For the fourth year in a row, the Miners will host the club’s annual Stick it to Cancer series when the team hosts the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs, October 18 and 19.
Puck drops Friday night at 10:30 pm and Saturday at 3:30 pm. Many of the traditional in-game elements will incorporate the Pink Out the Rink theme.
Fans attending the games are encouraged to join the Miner players and staff and wear pink to show their support. Stick it to Cancer “I fight for” cards filled out by the players and staff will be displayed during the game.
Fans can fill out their own “I fight for” card at the marketing table at the entrance of the rink. All cards will be displayed during a special moment in-game on Saturday, October 19.
Doors open thirty minutes prior to puck drop and admission is free to all.
