International Museum of Art Launches IndieGoGo Campaign
On Saturday, the International Museum of Art launched an online fundraising campaign to support their Collections Management Campaign.
Officials began the fundraising campaign via the fundrasing site IndieGoGo.
“The goal of this campaign is to raise support for cataloging, appraising and caring for the museum’s permanent collection,” officials shared via a news release.
“Please help us spread the word by emailing our link to your friends and family. It is very important to the museum’s board members that we preserve and protect El Paso’s history,” officials added.
Established in 1946, the International Museum of Art (IMoA) is El Paso’s first museum and occupies the 43,000 sq. ft. William and Iva Turney home designed by famed architect Henry Trost.
The museum is run by the International Association for the Visual Arts, a Texas nonprofit 501 (c) 3 volunteer organization.
