UTEP’s Jones Signs with the Baltimore Ravens

Former Miner Alvin Jones signed as a priority free agent with the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday night.

Jones is the second Miner to sign with an NFL team, behind offensive lineman Will Hernandez.

Jones finished his collegiate career posting 343 career tackles ranking second most at UTEP since the 2000 season. Not only did the linebacker rack up the stops but also registered a total of 15 sacks ranking tied for fourth in school history.

While at UTEP, Jones played in 47 games and made 43 starts. In 2016, Jones notched 102 tackles, two pass breakups, 4.5 sacks and three forced fumbles.

For the remainder of the month only, the full six-game docket is available for the price of five games. The lowest season ticket price through April 30 is $55. Beginning May 1, prices will start at $66.
