Officials Emergence Health Network announced that Joyce Wilson will serve as chair for Emergence Health Network’s Board of Trustees for 2020.
Wilson, who has been an EHN board member since 2017., served as El Paso’s first City Manager from 2004 to 2014 and recently announced her retirement as CEO of Workforce Solutions Borderplex.
She holds a master’s degree in public administration from John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and remains active with several community agencies.
Emergence Health Network is the Mental Health/Intellectual Developmental Disabilities Authority for El Paso County.
“EHN provides an array of services including behavioral health crisis services, outpatient care in mental health, substance use disorder treatment and primary care,” EHN officials shared via a news release, “as well as community education in areas such as suicide prevention and Mental Health First Aid among others.”
