Kelly Center for Hunger Relief’s ‘Fresh Start Program’ to hold first Drive-Thru Job Fair next week

As a result of the current health crisis, many El Pasoans are unemployed and restrictions on crowds have made it difficult to seek new employment in-person or at job fairs, and now the Kelly Center for Hunger Relief will be providing a unique solution: A drive-thru Job Fair.

Kelly Center’s Fresh Start program will host its first Drive-Thru Job Fair from on Monday July 6, 2020, from 9 a.m. to noon in its parking lot at 915 N. Florence St.

“While Kelly Center for Hunger Relief is currently helping hundreds of families who are in need, it also wants to help job hunters who are actively seeking out employment,” officials stated.

Kelly Center officials remind attendees that all job applicants must remain in their car and facemasks are required.

“Bring copies of your resume and a photo ID,” Kelly Center officials added. “Potential employers will be on hand to take resumes and applications.”

If there are local employers wishing to participate in the Drive-Thru Job Fair, they can contact Brenda Estrada at (915) 261-7499.

The Kelly Center for Hunger Relief’s Fresh Start program is made possible with help from Paso del Norte Health Foundation, Texas Methodist Foundation, Bank of America and University Presbyterian Church.
