The popular, five-time Latin Grammy Award-winning Mexican duo Jesse & Joy are coming to El Paso.
The dynamic pop music pair will perform at the El Paso County Coliseum (4100 E. Paisano) at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5.
The brother-sister duo from Mexico City, Jesse Eduardo Huerta Uecke and Tirzah Joy Huerta Uecke, first came onto the music scene in 2005, releasing their debut album “Esta Es Mi Vida” in 2006.
The album produced the pair’s first hit, “Espacio Sideral,” and garnered their first Latin Grammy Award as Best New Artist of the Year.
Two more albums, “Electricidad” and “Con Quién Se Queda El Perro?” followed, as did more hit songs on the Billboard charts, four Latin Grammy Award nominations, three of which they won, and a Grammy Award nod in 2012.
Jesse & Joy were recently nominated again for four more Latin Grammy Awards, becoming the only artist who managed to snag the triple crown of nominations – Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Record of the Year – with the album “Un Besito Más” and the song “Ecos de Amor.”
They also earned a nomination for Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album.
The Latin Grammy Awards will take place Nov. 17 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Tickets are $39.50, $49.50 and $59.50 for general admission seats, and $80, $122 and $192 for special VIP packages.
They are available at the El Paso County Coliseum Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at 800-745-3000 and online.
