Latin music icon Alejandra Guzmán to perform at Coliseum in June

Latin music powerhouse and Mexican pop diva Alejandra Guzmán is returning to the El Paso County Coliseum.

“La Rockera” will bring her La Guzmán Tour 2019 to the Coliseum, located at 4100 East Paisano, at 7 p.m. Sunday, June 2.

Guzmán blazed her way onto the Latin music scene in the 1980s, breaking stereotypes with her unique music and performance style. Known around the world as the “Queen of Mexican Rock” and the “Bad Girl of Latin Pop,” the iconic Guzmán continues to attract a massive international following of fans who flock to see her exciting stage shows and to hear her powerful fierce, raspy voice deliver rock hits, pop ballads and dance club anthems throughout the nation’s and world’s top arenas.

Guzmán has performed several times at the Coliseum. Her most recent visit was in 2017 on a joint tour with singer Gloria Trevi after performing solo in 2016.

Guzmán has been nominated for eight Latin Grammy Awards, winning one, and has earned nominations for two Grammy Awards and two Billboard Latin Music Awards. She is currently a judge on “La Voz,” Mexico’s version of the award-winning reality TV show, “The Voice.”

Tickets, which cost $64.99, $79.99, $99.99 and $119.99, plus fees, will go on sale Friday, February 15. They will be available at the El Paso County Coliseum Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at 800-745-3000 and online.
