In just a few short weeks, the Lee and Beulah Moor Children’s Home will be sending 80 children back to school for the 2018/2019 school year.
Officials with the home are asking for support from the community to help those 80 children go back to school with uniforms and all the supplies they’ll need.
“With 80 kids going back to school, that means 80 pairs of new shoes, 80 backpacks, 80 sets of school supplies and 80 children needing new school clothes or uniforms…[and] helping is easy,” officials shared via an email. “While you’re out shopping, pick up some extra supplies. We always need help with combination locks, USB sticks, and earbud headphones.”
Another way to get involved is to sponsor one of our 25 elementary or middle school students and help us with their required uniforms.
For $150, residents can buy a child everything necessary for their uniform needs. That’s 5 pairs of pants, 5 monogrammed polos and a school spirit jacket or hoodie. For information on the various programs, click here.
Additionally, residents can contribute to the Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home supply fund online, via this link.
The home is open Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM, and is at located 1100 East Cliff Drive for donation drop-offs.
