‘Lick It Up’ restaurant set to open new location, be featured on Food Network Friday

Earlier this week, officials with the Vegetarian/Vegan restaurant Lick It Up announced the grand opening of their new location this Friday evening.

Lick It Up, located at 114 East Mills Avenue in El Paso, will open their doors at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 2nd, and the community is invited to the event.

Launched in February of 2017 by El Pasoan Edgar “Pato” Delfin, Lick it Up’s mission from the beginning has been to create plant-based Mexican street food.

Pato says he draws inspiration from being raised in Cd. Juarez and describes Lick It Up and the food he makes as “It’s just good comfort food.”

The menu consists of fan favorites such as the torta milanesa, carne asada fries, and steak gorditas, but everything is 100% plant-based.

Along with the grand opening, Lick It Up is being showcased on the Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Stop by for a viewing party of the episode on Friday, August 2nd at 7 pm MST.

For more information and to stay up to date with Lick It Up, visit their Facebook or Instagram pages.
