Live Active El Paso hosting Health and Wellness Programs in October

Officials with the city’s program, Live Active El Paso, are inviting the community to stay active and make health a priority this fall by participating in various free health and wellness activities throughout the City.

“The month of October is filled with fitness classes and various wellness series covering different health topics,” city officials share. “Fitness classes include Zumba, yoga, line dancing, workouts for senior residents, aquatic strength training sessions, and strong body classes.”

Live Active El Paso is also offering several wellness series that focus on mental health and mindfulness. Some of the series include mindfulness, engaging in healthy lifestyles and strategic planning.

All programs are held on different dates and in different parts of the City. Registration is not required to attend any of the free, family-friendly programs. A calendar of events and locations can be found online

Created by the City of El Paso in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Live Active El Paso is a citywide community movement that promotes health and wellness by encouraging physical activity, improved nutrition, and strong mental health. The initiative depends on the support of dozens of partner organizations including local gymnasiums, nutritional eateries, non-profit health organizations and local businesses
