On Wednesday, local entrepreneur, Georgina Michelle Williams, launched YummyGoodness.com, a website inspired by the multicultural cuisine of the borderplex.
She timed the launch just in time for 16 de Septiembre, and will feature spicy and Mexican inspired recipes throughout the week.
Via a news release, Georgina Michelle Williams says she aims to showcase El Paso’s rich traditions and cuisine via an international food blog and at an upcoming major industry International Food Bloggers Conference in Sacramento, California at the end of this month.
“I want to highlight our multicultural cuisine and help bring more people to El Paso and the borderplex region,”Williams shared.
As for her background, Georgina says she “left a wonderful job helping improve the health of children in her community to focus on her family, her children, and their health. As a result, Yummy Goodness was born.”
Williams is the content creator, photographer, stylist, and recipe developer for Yummy Goodness.
Georgina’s professional background includes 15 years of executive marketing experience and public relations experience in sports, education, government, and children’s healthcare.
Previously, Georgina was the Director of Marketing for the Sun Bowl Association when they had their first sold-out standing room game, she served as the Executive Director of Alumni Relations at New Mexico State University, as the Legislative Aide for District 3 in the City of El Paso, and was most recently the Marketing Manager and Interim Physician Relations Manager at El Paso Children’s Hospital.
