Man shot after parking confrontation in East El Paso

One man is dead after a shooting in East El Paso.

El Paso Police say 22-year old Shedrick Duffey was shot and killed  by another man over a parking disagreement. Officers say the incident happened along the 2000 block of Pueblo Nuevo, just north of Montwood Drive, in East El Paso.

Police would only say that “the situation rapidly escalated into an exchange of gunfire, and Duffey was mortally wounded.” Officials added that two suspects were taken into custody, questioned and later released.

The investigation by Crimes Against Persons detectives is on-going, therefore the identities of the suspects are not being released.
