The UTEP men’s basketball team will host I-10 rival NM State on “Texas Western Night” Friday, Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. in the Don Haskins Center.
As part of the festivities, UTEP Athletics is asking fans to help “Stripe the Don” by wearing either orange or white in designated sections.
The following have been designated as “Orange” sections: A, C, E, G, I, K, M, N, P, R, T, V, X, Z.
The following have been designated as “White” sections: B, D, F, H, J, L, O, Q, S, U, W, Y.
Fans can purchase Texas Western attire in their designated color, as well as other TWC merchandise including backpacks, caps, mugs and glasses, by visiting www.UTEPMiners.com/StripetheDon. TWC t-shirts, polos and sweatshirts are available.

The Miners (1-0) opened their season, and the coach Joe Golding era, by defeating Western New Mexico, 85-57, on Tuesday night in the Haskins Center. They will face NM State on Saturday night in Las Cruces, in the first of two matchups between the long-time adversaries.
