After a short break, the UTEP Miners men’s golf team is back in action Monday as it travels up Interstate-10 to Las Cruces for the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate tournament hosted by New Mexico State.
The tourney will be held October 17 and 18 at NM State’s University Golf Course, a 7242 yard, par-71 course located on campus. Teams will tee off in a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. both days, 36 holes will be played Monday and the final 18 on Tuesday.
The Miners won the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate last year with a 54-hole total of 854 (284-288-282), 17 strokes ahead of runner-up Grand Canyon.
