Miners Kids Club relaunched by UTEP Athletics; GECU set to sponsor

UTEP Athletics has relaunched its Miners Kids Club presented by GECU, a program that allows young fans the opportunity to get involved and support the Miners.

“We are excited to roll out our new-look Miners Kids Club program,” UTEP Director of Marketing Rebecca Plescia said. “Last year gave us the opportunity to take a step back and re-evaluate our youth fan club and the great experiences we can offer our Miner fans. This is a fantastic opportunity to join forces with our younger fanbase to connect with UTEP Athletics.”

Benefits include access to exclusive events, official UTEP Miners Kids Club T-shirt and ID cards, as well as tickets to select home events and invites to GECU financial education activities and events.

The Miners Kids Club is open to kids aged 12 years old and under with a $45 annual membership fee. Special incentives and discounts for current GECU families and existing members will also be available.

Additional perks include a Birthday card from Paydirt Pete, the opportunity to be the GECU Game Ball Kid of the Game, and a 10 percent discount to a UTEP Athletic Summer Camp of choice.

Admission to select UTEP home events will be based on availability and includes tickets to football and men’s basketball games. Members will also be granted free admission to women’s basketball, volleyball, soccer and softball home events.
