“Today’s match was a good warm-up going into the start of our conference match tomorrow,” UTEP head coach Hannah Muegge said. “We were short a shooter today, as Bailey was out of play, but overall there were a lot of improvements made throughout the day and the team is excited and ready to apply them this weekend.”

Sophomore Abby Monique shot her third-highest aggregate (1151) of the campaign. She registered a 573 in smallbore and a 578 in air rifle to eclipse her seasonal average in both disciplines.

Sophomore Mara Rouse posted a season-high aggregate of 1149. She recorded a 570 in smallbore and then fired a campaign-best 579 in air rifle.
