Molina Healthcare donates $10k to El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank

Monday morning, officials with Molina Healthcare of Texas  announced their recent donation of $10,000 to El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank to support combating the hunger crisis by distributing nutritious food throughout the community.

“Molina Healthcare of Texas is proud to support El Paosans Fighting Hunger Food Bank because of its tremendous efforts in helping care for our local communities during this especially challenging year,” said Anne Rote, plan president for Molina Healthcare of Texas.

“Thank you to our friends at Molina Healthcare!  With their donation of $10,000 they are feeding 70,000 people.  They are sharing their story to inspire others.  Thank you for helping us meet our mission because no one should go hungry,” shared Kathy Cox, Chief Development Officer at El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank.

El Pasoans Fighting Hunger (EPFH) is El Paso’s only food bank and a member of Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger relief network. The Food Bank is the distribution center for over 132 partner pantries across the borderland region and collaborative hub for hunger initiatives that assists in SNAP applications and nutrition education.

EPFH also distributes healthy and nutritious food to 235 client choice mobile pantries, which provide food to underserved/unserved communities.
