Moms on Board (MOB) Announces new Executive Director & Chief Operations Officer

The Moms on Board (MOB) Board of Directors are proud to announce that Adrianne Moody and Leyla Safa will transition to their new roles as Executive Director and Chief Operations Officer for the organization.

Adrianne and Leyla’s experience as former President and Vice President of the Board will ensure that they will be able to lead this organization.  In their previous roles, the two led the charge on the All Abilities Playground and other successful initiatives including City shade ordinances, and advocated at the State level for curbside voting to be an option for young families.  Their goal is to grow, promote and strengthen relationships within the community to ensure MOBs long-term success.

During the April Board of Directors meeting, Veronica Ramos and Natalie Eckberg were voted to replace Adrianne and Leyla as President and Vice President, respectively.

Veronica has been moving this mission forward since day one with Adrianne and Leyla.  She has led the efforts on MOB the Vote and assisted on House Bill 2898 which focused on making voting easier for families with young children.

“I am honored to be elected president of the MOB Board and am thankful for the confidence they have in me,” said Veronica. “I am excited to lead this organization and look forward to working with the board and our newest appointed Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer to continue to make a better place for the families of our community.”

“The entire Board of Directors joins me in thanking Adrianne and Leyla for their leadership,” said Natalie Eckberg. “We are excited about this new chapter in our organization and are confident that our new Executive Director and Chief Operations Officer have positioned us for success. Exciting things are in the works, and we invite all of El Paso to join us as we strive to make our community a better place to live.”

MOB is looking forward to continuing to serve families in El Paso. We strive to work with local leaders to bring more family friendly amenities to the Sun City. Be on the lookout for details of our signature Back to School event this late summer and our new project at Ascarate Park.
