Mt. Carmel invites community to celebrate 335th Anniversary of 1st Mass in Ysleta

The Mount Carmel Community invites you to the 335th Anniversary of the Celebration of the First Mass here in Ysleta by a few Spanish and Tigua Indian families.

During this celebration, the Alumni from both Incarnate Word and Mount Carmel Schools, teachers, parents, the Clergy and Religious Orders will have an opportunity to gather to celebrate these contributions to our faith community.

October 9, 2015 — Friday
Incarnate Word and OLMC Alumni, Teachers, Parents, and Religious and Clergy Reunion
5:00 pm — 7:00 pm: Registration
5:30 pm — 6:45 pm: Open House: Mount Carmel School Building
7:00 pm: Prayer Service followed by a Social with shared church and school memories by invited clergy and religious in the Parish Hall.

October 10, 2015 — Saturday
5:00 pm: Mass
7:00 pm — 11:00 pm: Dinner and Dance in Parish Hall
Acknowledging contributions by Franciscans, Incarnate Word Sisters and Jesuits. RSVP is required, and tickets are $20.00 per person or $30.00 a couple for the event. Tickets are available at the Parish Office, and will be available as of September 13th at the Sunday Breakfast in the Parish Hall. You are welcome to BYOB and other snacks for the dance.

10:00 am: Alfresco Mass in front of the Historical Ysleta Mission
