The City of El Paso Museums and Cultural Affairs Department (MCAD) is issuing a call to artists to design and create temporary window murals for the Art Crawl event that will be held by the Downtown Art and Farmers Market on August 4.
The Art Crawl will tour the Pop-Up Murals that will be painted at local downtown businesses.
“At the Market, we are encouraging people to live a healthy lifestyle by shopping with our local growers, eating at local restaurants and being more active. This series of Art Crawls helps bring people to our downtown restaurants as well as providing an opportunity to local artists to display their work,” said Downtown Art and Farmers Market Coordinator Valerie Venecia.
Applications must be submitted by Monday, July 18. Interested artists may download an application HERE.
