NAMI El Paso’s first ‘End The Silence’ presentation features Elia Esparza Thursday

NAMI El Paso is presenting its first-ever “ETS El Paso Stars” starring El Paso native and musician, Elia Esparza for youth across the city.

“ETS El Paso Stars is a series of “Ending the Silence” presentations that are free and open to youth ages 13-18 years old, with local guest stars that will share their experience with mental health conditions,” NAMI officials shared.

A virtual event, “ETS El Paso Stars” starring Elia Esparza will be held Thursday November 19, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

“Ending the Silence” for students is a presentation for teens to learn about the warning signs of mental health conditions and what steps to take if a loved one is showing symptoms of a mental illness.

Elia Esparza was born and raised in El Paso, and is an Americas High School graduate.  Elia attended the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts upon graduation.

Esparza was featured on NBC’s The Voice and chose to be on pop star Adam Levine’s team in 2016.
