Franklin Mountain Communities is pleased to announce the homebuilder lineup for the developer’s new master-planned community in North El Paso, known as Campo del Sol.
The selected builders, Classic American Homes, Edwards Homes, Tropicana Homes and Desert View Homes, will soon begin building new homes in Campo del Sol with starting prices in the low- and mid-$200s. The first phase of the project will include over 2,500 homes and impressive amenities including a resort-style amenity center and a lazy river.
“We are thrilled to welcome Classic American Homes, Edwards Homes, Tropicana Homes and Desert View Homes as our builders in Campo del Sol,” said James Feagin, Chairman and CEO of Scarborough Lane Development, Franklin Mountain Communities’ development services provider. “These homebuilders maintain sterling reputations of homebuilding excellence throughout the El Paso real estate market, and we are excited to partner with them as we build El Paso’s first true master-planned community.”
Situated at the foothills of the Franklin Mountains, Campo del Sol is located just off I-54, across McCombs Street from Painted Dunes Golf Course. At buildout completion, the community will include 9,500 residential units, 300 acres of commercial development, a minimum of 135 acres of park land, open spaces and trails, and dedicated school sites.
Campo del Sol amenities will include a 10-acre park, dog parks, hike and bike trails, a four-acre resort-style amenity center featuring a flowing lazy river, a kiddy splash pad, activity pool, grass areas, food truck parking and lots of shade. The community has plans to include a future elementary and middle school. A full-time activity director will coordinate special events and activities to create a sense of community.
New floorplans are expected to be released on the builders’ websites soon. To keep up with development within the community, visit CampodelSol.com.
