NMSU to Host the Novembrew Beer and Wine Festival Saturday

New Mexico State University’s School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management will host the Novembrew beer and wine festival at Aggie Memorial Stadium, Saturday, Nov. 12.

The event will be the only in the area that showcases National Distributing craft beers and wines from California, Washington, South America and Italy.

The event was created by National Distributing in an effort to endow its scholarship and is planned and executed by the students of the School of HRTM. The event started in 2010 and took a brief hiatus but is back with multiple samplings, food booths, live music, live DJs, activities and souvenir glasses for the first 600 guests.

Since the inception of the National Distributing scholarship in 2011, four students from the School of HRTM have been recipients.

Tastings are from 2-6 p.m. with entertainment throughout the event. The event is open to anyone age 21 or older.

The event has VIP tickets for $50 and includes 30 one-ounce samples, complimentary food in the VIP area and one hour early entrance into the event. General admission tickets are available for $20 in advance and $25 on the day of the event and include 20 one-ounce samples.

Tickets can be purchased at the Pan American Center ticket office, the HRTM Office in Gerald Thomas Hall, Room 138, at the event the day of, or online.
