NMSU’s Chile Pepper Institute to hold annual plant sale April 8-10

New Mexico State University’s Chile Pepper Institute will be holding its annual plant sale April 8-10.

Plants are $4 each with a wide variety of plants available.

Customers may purchase a variety of chile plants, including serrano, poblano, orange and yellow bell peppers and the hot NuMex Heritage Big Jim with five times the flavor.

Customers may also purchase a variety of tomatoes, eggplants, squashes and various herbs including thyme, cilantro and oregano.

The sale will be held at the Fabian Garcia Research Center, 113 West University Avenue, in Las Cruces.

The sale will begin at 8 a.m. Monday, April 8 and Tuesday, April 9 and go until 6 p.m. and begin again at 8 a.m. Wednesday, April 10 and will run until all the plants have been sold.
