Families looking to venture out in a safe and socially distant way this holiday season can visit Northwest Early College High School in Canutillo for a brand-new light show experience.
“We know there are many families in need this year and would like to be able to help any way we can, even just spreading a little holiday cheer with some lights, a wave from Old Saint Nick and a goodie bag with a packet of cocoa, candy, and a little gift,” said NWECHS Principal Jesica Arrellano.
From the safety of their personal vehicles, families will drive through the grounds of the campus for a nighttime holiday experience.
In addition to putting together the light show, students are asking for donations to help those in need.
The Northwest Student Council will be conducting a toy drive this night. Students will be collecting toys appropriate for ages 11-17 on behalf of the El Paso Center for Children.
The Mexican American Studies Student Association will be collecting new blankets & socks for Sin Fronteras.
Visitors can arrive on December 16 between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. for a short self-guided light show. The show is free of charge.
