The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPCSO) say one man is behind bars after a deadly Thanksgiving night shooting in Fabens.
According to a release from EPCSO, their deputies were sent to a home on Pinkerton Street, shortly after 5 p.m. on Thursday night on a Criminal Mischief/Family Violence call.
When deputies arrived at the home, they found Felix Rivera III 46, dead.
Deputies say Rivera III suffered a gunshot wound caused by a family member; that family member surrendered to them at the scene.
EPCSO’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating the incident and will provide updates as their work continues.
